Somewhat tedious and predictable.
I have dozens of books on the subject of the atonement but few that equal or exceed this text. When one considers James Denney's training (very liberal theological background) the book becomes even more remarkable. When we consider the content of much of contempory preaching this should be a must read for every pastor.
